Herschelle from Pakistan: Studying Business in a Diverse Country

Today we shine our Student Spotlight on one of our students from Pakistan, Herschelle John! Herschelle is currently persuing an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Business. He has a particular interest in business administration, marketing, and advertisement.

A Reputation for Diversity

Choosing where to continue your studies is an important choice, especially if you’re considering studying in another country. In decisions like these, sometimes a good word goes a long way.

For Herschelle, one of the reasons he chose to study in Canada was because his agent praised AC’s services and the quality of life in Canada. For him, being able to study at a college with such a diverse student body was an opportunity he couldn’t ignore.

“I chose sa传媒有限公司 mainly because of the diversity in the college. Like getting to know new people, new cultures, experiencing new stuff.”

Making it Big in Canada

For an ambitious business student like Herschelle, his eyes are set on the top.

“One of my main goals is to join one of the biggest firms in Canada,” Herschelle says. Since he is majoring in business with a special interest in advertisement and marketing, he would love the opportunity to work at advertising companies.

Aside from working towards his goals, Herschelle is also an avid shoe collector and a car enthusiast.

For future students, Herschelle has two pieces of advice. The first is to obtain medical insurance before arriving in Canada, just in case anything happens.

The second piece of advice is directed towards students coming to Canada during the fall and winter. Herschelle recommends investing in a good pair of boots, especially for students who are unused to cold climates, as Canada can get quite chilly!
